The Bay-and-Case features a single chip microprocessor. This micro peforms several functions including monitoring the hard disk temperature and driving an additional fan to regulate the temperature. The micro also controls the front-panel LCD which displays SCSI ID, MTBF Hour and Day, 5v and 12 v power monitoring and display, and drive temperature monitoring and display. These units are used, but in excellent condition and complete with the Bay, Case and key. We are the original owners of these units. We purchased them to use in our own misson-critical servers. We reduced the number of servers, and therefore took these out of service. They are very clean and like new condition and fully operational.
