LabMaster DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion

The DeskTop BNC Analog Input Expansion provides convenient industry standard BNC connections for the LabMaster Analog Input signals in a small compact desktop unit measuring only 11" wide by 2" high by 7" deep (280mm x 51mm x 178mm). It is designed to stack on top of your existing DeskTop BNC unit to provide an additional 16 Analog Input connections.

Up to three of the DeskTop BNC Ai units can be connected to the DeskTop BNC to provide a total of 64 Analog Input connections!

The small size and the stacking of this unit on your existing DeskTop BNC unit makes it ideal for the laboratory bench top where space is at a premium.

BNC connections are ideal for many applications. They are widely used and standard patch cables are easily obtained. They are rugged, yet easy to use and stay connected with the "twist-on" locking feature of the connector.

Front of the DeskTop BNC Analog Input unit has the following BNC connections:

Back of the Desktop BNC Analog Input unit has a single DB25F connection:

The DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion provides additional Analog Input connections to your existing DeskTop BNC unit. You can connect up to three of the DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion units to your DeskTop BNC. The DeskTop BNC has 16 BNC connections in the front for Analog Input channels Ain 0 to 15. If you add just one DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion (Ain 16 to 31), you will have 32 BNC connections for your Analog Inputs. If you add a second unit (Ain 32 to 47) you will have 48 BNC connections for your Analog Inputs. And if you add a third unit (Ain 48 to 63) you will 64 BNC connections for your Analog Input signals.

The following picture shows the front of the DeskTop BNC unit (bottom) and the DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion unit (top). The bottom unit provides 16 Analog input signals and also the Analog Out, Digital In, Digital Out and Counter / Timer signals. The Top unit provides an additional 16 Analog Input connections bringing the total, in this case, to 32 BNC Analog Inputs.

The three DB25F connections aligned vertically along the left side of the bottom unit are used to connect to the DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion units. The DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion comes with a short cable that connects between the DeskTop BNC and the DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion unit. If you had more DeskTop BNC Ai Expansion units, they would stack on top and connect with a similar, but longer, cable.
