Sleep Lab Products

The products in this section are used by Sleep Diagnostic Laboratories for diagnosing sleep disorders in clinical and research facilities..  This includes products and accessories for Sandman systems.

Sandman sleep systems for NPB Melville - Tyco Healthcare, have been using the LabMaster products since the early 1990s.  The systems have progressed from using the LabMaster AD to the LabMaster ADEX and most recently using the LabMaster PRO PCI card.  In addition to the "core" acquisition cards, there are a number of accessories including the LabMaster SM 64 DeskTop unit, the DC8 and the DC16 expansion units, and cables.

The LabMaster AD and ADEX are ISA cards that have a 60 pin connector which can be used to connect direclty to a SandMan amplifier that is also using the same 60 pin connector.  The cable is normally included with the LabMaster card.

The LabMaster PRO comes in two versions - a 60 pin version that is the same connection used on the LabMaster AD and LabMaster ADEX; and a 68 pin version.  If you are connecting the LabMaster card to a SandMan amplifer or other equipment that uses the 60 pin connector, then you want to be sure and get the LabMaster PRO that has the 60 pin connector.  If you are not using the SandMan amplifer, but want to connect from the LabMaster PRO to some other equipment, then you may want to discuss your needs with Scientific Solutions Technical Support (support@labmaster.com) to what would be best for your needs, i.e. the 60 pin or the 68 pin LabMaster PRO.
